Our Love Story

Today we celebrate our one year anniversary! And I want to share with you guys our LOVE STORY!

I met him in an online dating site; it was really a God given day for us. Everything went smoothly and I believe that God was there giving me that special and blessed 2010. I first made contact with him last July 12, 2010. I sent him a message and after on the 2^nd attempt, he responded with a smile and we started with a casual conversation. The getting to know each other was part of the first things that we did and we discovered that we have lots of things in common.  There was so much of respect from him (until now), and I salute him for that. We talked everyday (YES, it’s really everyday! until this time! Thank God for the blessings!) We talked via emails, YM chats and phone calls.

 He told me that before he met me, he spoke to approximately 50 different catholic Filipina women; however, He said that I stole his heart (blushing!). We possess many traits in common, amongst the common traits was a passion to read, we love nature, we love politics, we love to explore the amazing world, we love to have a long lasting relationship and we respect humanity. We shared the same dream and goal in life. We are both passionate and loving with each other. I really like him and I felt something special to him. I found a perfect match in him! After 2 weeks of talking miles away, he immediately placed a request for a 2 weeks’ vacation from work, and purchased airlines tickets to my beautiful Philippines. I was supposedly to meet him at the airport in CDO, but it turned out that he met me at the terminal in Cagayan de Oro City. 

We were together in the car and were shy at first (hehe) but after just a few hours, I became comfortable with each other. We were tensed at that time, LOL! I held his hand; I put my hands around him to let him feel that I am for real and that I was being hit by a special thing called LOVE! It was a real magical moment for me, the moment we locked the door in our hotel room, we immediately hugged each other. It was such a sweet-sugary-romantic moment in my life. We were telling each other that we loved each other and we really meant it with all our heart. 

We are very sweet couple, can’t stop saying my thanks to God for this enormous gift He bestowed to Us. We did some island hopping around Mindanao specifically in Camiguin Island and eventually travelled to my hometown where he met my family and some close family friends. We returned to CDO and had Nene and Leo time together. It was also in his first visit that he proposed to me. It was such a romantic and memorable time for me worth to be remembered for the rest of my life. The moment he left for the US was a real torture for me and him. We miss each other every day but we were telling each other that he will be back and bring me to his place and will live happily ever after. 

Here comes that second visit, at this time, I met him at the airport! He immediately went out at the airport and kissed and hugged me! He left his luggage inside!haha! Then, we headed home,(house where I stayed in CDO) there, we had another romantic time together and had a lunch date at our special place in CDO. We explored the city, most of the time we went to SM mall, did our grocery shopping, bought some souvenirs and we prepared the papers needed for the K1 petition.  We had our lovey-dovey adventure at Dahilayan Adventure Park, it was such a notable experienced for me, and we explored the beauty of Cebu city and back at CDO for more me and him moments. We talked about our plans and we never fail to express how much we value and love each other. 

We always had a fight on who loves us more, me or him?LOL! Such a romantic fights. I love spending time with him. I love taking good care of him and I want to explore more in the kitchen to cook him good foods. He amazed me with his wit! And most especially his passionate and kind heart is such a blessing from up above. His happiness is my first priority. I know he loves me more than I love him, and I love him more that he loves me. LOL! 

There’s no perfect couple and relationship, and we are not the exception for it, we have also our shared of difficulties, trials but what’s best in our relationship is that we took those in a brighter perspective. It was part and parcel of the whole package that makes our relationship grow deeper and perfectly fit for us. They were just circumstances of growing up and honing our relationship even stronger. 

I will always go down in the history books as living proof that: 1.You can meet the love of your life in a World Wide Web,2.Long distance relationship Do work, and 3.With enough perseverance and determination, the handsome kokoleo could end up with the hot kokonene!LOL! And live happily ever after!

To my kokoleo, I always thank God for letting this thing happened, for bringing us together at the right time, for sending you straight to me. You were always there for me, you never fails to show up in my worst times, you were always part of my everyday life and will always be my man, my life and my love,  you always remind me to slow down when I seemed to be speeding so fast. You always kept me grounded. You never get tired telling me how beautiful I am, reassuring me that I am good and that I have something special in me. You believe in my ability and you always encourage me to do things that I thought I can’t. I want to Thank you babe for everything. I Love you so much baby, NOW and FOREVER!
