For it to become reality, it has to be a priority. True enough. When my beloved fiancee filed the K1 Visa, my priority at that time is my health, that i should be healthy the moment that i'll have my medical. Even before, it's really my health that i put into first consideration because health is wealth. I was always wary on what i am going to eat. I was paranoid! (^_^). I research, read and apply everything that i have learned. I decided to eat healthy and avoid foods that will cause problems especially in my lungs. I choose to live a healthy life style by eating more fruits and enough sleep. It was all worth it! My money, effort and prayers because I had a successful medical experience. Here are some things and people that made my medical examination a successful one that are worth sharing.
I ate apple everyday since the K1 visa was submitted to the USCIS. Way back in my Island and college days, i just ignore this fruit. I don't like to have this as a snack, i rather had chips or the famous "PIATOS in the Philippines" When my fiancee filed the petition, I changed for the better! I started to eat and like this fruit. Consuming this fruit over time will improve your lung function while detoxifying your lungs at the cellular level. Apples contain a high amount of ascorbic acid and magnesium.
One of the most popular fruit favored by health conscious, fitness freaks who believe in “health is wealth”. The antioxidants in apple have many health promoting and disease prevention properties; thus justifying the adage “an apple a day keeps the doctor away”. I ate apple for 4 months prior to my medical.
I Eat (Ate) and drink plenty of pineapples. The active ingredient in pineapple is bromelain, which helps cleanse your lungs in a cellular level--including increasing elasticity for you to be able to breathe deeper and consume more fresh oxygen. Gynecology fiber can be easier defecate on people with constipation.
When i was at CDO, i always bought pineapple fruit and juice in can together with my apple. It cost us lots of money but its all worth it!
When i was a kid and even at my age now, i really don't like drinking milk, but i have no choice but to drink it for my own benefit! I had to drink one can of Alpine a day (my substitute for alpine was Bear Brand sterilized ) and 8 glasses of water (including my juices) every day! More specifically, studies have shown that high calcium intakes may reduce high levels of bad cholesterol in the blood, and increase low levels of good cholesterol both of which are known risk factors for cardiovascular disease. Drinking a healthy amount of water is vital to your health. It cleanses body toxins.
Exercise daily will really helps to achieve a healthy mind and body! yay! Actually i always went to the boulevard to do my morning walk (it should be a fats walk!LOL). Every weekend we go to the beach to have a swimming exercise because it is really a total body work out. The exercise also allows the heart to pump more efficiently, which results in more blood to the muscles and lungs.
My Nanay who encourage and gave me assurance that i am healthy and no reason to get worried. We always go for a swim at the beautiful Magpopongco Beach. She always bought a fresh pineapple fruit for me and prays for me. Thank You Nay! To my family thank you for praying for me! Additionally, to my friends and PrettyLadies Sisters, Thank you so much for the support and encouragement! God bless us all!
