Beautiful San Diego! ( 11/16/2013)

Woaaahhh! It has been a while since my last post. It's nice to be back and write again here on my online diary. 

Last weekend, we planned to visit somewhere, Yes, it's uncertain where we want to go. Since my husband has a reward for a free weekend stay at a hotel, we then started to look for the best place to stay and unwind. :) 

We asked mr. Google, browse through Yelp and read some reviews of a good place to stay at the same time close to the city but hoping that it will be peaceful and beautiful! And oh, Marriot Hotel was the only option for the reward. So, we stick for that. LOL

After all the research, we decided to stay at Courtyard San Diego Airport/Liberty Station. And yes, staying close to the airport doesn't disturb us. It was peaceful and beautiful. :) The room has a lot of space, clean and comfortable. We stayed at 4th floor and the view from our balcony is amazing and gorgeous. You will  wake up to this beautiful bay and city of SD!  :) And oh..the wifi is FREE! :) Below our the photos I took at the hotel:

The morning after, we decided to have a walk and drove to Shelter Island. This is a beautiful place to have a morning walk or a jog. The view is fantastic. When we went there, it was crowded. We then decided to just head back to the hotel and enjoy the complimentary breakfast! :) 

For lunch, my husband is firm on where to eat, LOL He really wanted to eat  at Chicken Pot Pie place. He loves it, it's his fave. Since he work so hard, I gave it for him. hahaha However, I did not order a chicken pot pie, I'm always loyal to my shrimp!hahaha

He is all set to order and rock and roll his Chicken Pot Pie with his milk. :) It's also part of reminiscing the past with his Mom because they used to eat here. :) He is passing it with his kids the memories of eating the foods he loves when he was a kid. Aww…good times! :)

Then after enjoying those delicious foods, we went to Balboa Park. This is the park that so far. never fails to amaze me. I enjoy being here and the fact that it's historic and beautiful makes me just want to stay. :) Here again are the photos that best describe our memories there:
